U Day 2024 marked a special milestone as we celebrated our 4th annual U Day—a day dedicated to honouring the outstanding contributions of all Asurians across the country. This year’s celebration was filled with energy, passion, and reflection on the journey Asuria has taken since the inception of this event. U Day serves as a testament to the incredible work happening across our organisation and highlights the dedication and innovation that drives us forward.
Since its inception in December 2020, U Day has meant much more than just an awards ceremony—it’s a time to reflect on our shared mission of empowering individuals to overcome challenges and unlock their full potential through meaningful and sustainable employment and education opportunities. It is a day where we celebrate the people at the heart of Asuria, who, through their relentless pursuit of excellence, make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve. Each year, the event grows in significance as we look back on the progress we've made and the incredible individuals who continue to shape our future at Asuria.
This year’s U Day was no exception, bringing together Asuria's brightest stars and recognising their outstanding achievements. The Enterprising Heart Awards were the highlight of the day, shining a spotlight on those who go above and beyond to exemplify what it truly means to beat to an Enterprising Heart.

Rookie of the Year: Karla O’Connor, Mentor, Workforce Australia
Karla O’Connor burst onto the scene at Asuria with energy, determination, and a fresh perspective.
