Are you working in the community services sector and have a willingness to enhance your skills? This qualification will prepare you for advanced roles in the community sector. Successful completion of this course will equip you with the practical skills and confidence to work in a number of roles such as a community services worker, migrant support worker, or neighborhood centre worker.
Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
*While there are no pre-requisite for this course, participants must take the language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) assessment. This will help us identify areas where you might need additional support during your studies.
Delivery
The training program is delivered with comprehensive trainer support to provide a rich and engaging learning experience.
The course is delivered over four terms in a blended format.
How is it delivered?
- Orientation
- Live Virtual Workshops
- Tutorials/ On-demand Trainer support sessions via phone or web
- Workplace Visit by Trainer
The program is delivered in shorter, more manageable terms of learning. Students gets to focus on specific sections of the program at one time. These terms also provide the perfect ‘check point’ over the duration of the program to monitor and support participant progress.
