This short micro business skill set course runs over 8-weeks and includes live training webinars with our expert Asuria Trainers, plus on demand tutoring support when you need it.

Whether you have an exciting business idea or currently operate a small business, this bootcamp can help you turn your business dreams into a reality.

This bootcamp is ideal for anyone who wants to take the next step with their new business idea and and learn the skills needed to turn your idea into a business plan. It is also ideal for any existing small business owners who could benefit from some extra business advice and guidance to plan their current business operations.

This course is a pathway to the full qualification for Certificate III and Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.

You may be eligible for this course under Asuria’s Workforce Australia – Self-Employment Assistance program where all training and support are at no cost to you. Learn more here.

Program Details

Entry Requirements

This is an entry-level course, and no previous skills or experience are necessary.

While there are no specific entry requirements, participants are required to take the language, literacy, and numeracy skills (LLN) assessment. It will help us understand how we can assist you in any areas where you may need help while studying with us.

 

What you need before starting the course

Computer with access to the Internet and with the ability to join live Zoom webinars. Minimum specifications for your computer are:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 or later or Mac or above
    • Microsoft Office 
    • Up-to-date internet browser
    • You may also need access to a printer and the following applications
      • Adobe Acrobat reader (free download)

Delivery

8-weeks in total, with 4-weeks of live online webinars plus 4-weeks of self-paced learning. Intakes occur every month.

Participants who are enrolled in the BSBSS00102 Micro Business Skill Set will attain this Skill Set including the following units on successful completion of this module.
