Why you need a business plan

Starting a business is an exciting but challenging endeavor. A solid business plan is crucial to ensure the success of your small business. It is not just a document that outlines your company's goals, strategies, and plans but also serves as a roadmap for your business. A well-written business plan can help you secure funding, attract potential investors, and make important decisions along the way.

In a free one-on-one session as part of the Self-Employment Assistance program, Asuria’s expert Business Mentors can help you craft a business plan and provide you with the tools you need to complete it. Your Business Mentor will then work with you to assess the viability of your plan, so that you can take the steps to get your business off the ground and running.

Why mentoring matters in business

Increase the success of your business by working with a dedicated Business Mentor. Here are six key benefits of launching your business with the help from Asuria’s Self-Employment Assistance program.

1. Gives you confidence

Business Mentors often have the experience and knowledge you don’t. You can share ideas and problems with your Business Mentor, and they can act as a sounding board to help you make decisions with more confidence.

2.Provides a different perspective

There are often different ways to achieve an outcome or goal in any business. Business Mentors can help you look at problems and situations from different perspectives.

3.Improves your knowledge

Business Mentors are there to support both your business success and to develop your business skills and knowledge. They can prepare you with methods and strategies that you can use throughout your career as a business owner.
