PeoplePlus is pleased to announce that we have been appointed by the Department of Jobs and Small Business to now deliver services to more Australian parents.
We will continue to deliver early intervention assistance such as identifying education and employment goals, developing a pathway to achieve them and links to activities and services in the local community for eligible parents.
With approximately 96 per cent of participants expected to be women, including about 10,000 Indigenous women, the program will complement other Government initiatives to increase female participation in the workforce.
PeoplePlus has built a strong reputation for its commitment to creating social and economic opportunities for Australia’s most disadvantaged and is well-known for delivering highly-effective programs constructed on innovative solutions and community connections.
PeoplePlus Executive Chairman, Con Kittos, said, “I am delighted and looking forward to delivering ParentsNext services in more areas across the nation.
"We will be expanding our presence from two current locations in Playford, South Australia, and Bankstown, NSW to now cover six Employment Regions and 24 towns and cities across New South Wales, South Australia, and Victoria."
Mr. Kittos went on to say that, “PeoplePlus is growing to become a great Australian company committed to helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, education, and training.”
PeoplePlus General Manager of Skills, Emma Crichton, said, “to be awarded these six employment regions in the ParentsNext national rollout demonstrates just how well our ParentsNext staff has assisted parents in preparing and returning to work during the pilot phase.
“We’re delighted to be able to continue this work more broadly around Australia because we know that parents responsibilities to their children come first and we pride ourselves in helping them manage their family responsibilities whilst also participating in the labour market.”
The program has been successfully operating in 10 locations across Australia since April 2016 and the Government is investing $263 million in its expansion.
PeoplePlus will be delivering ParentsNext services in the following employment regions:
New South Wales
