Their journey with Asuria began when Andy took a chance on a participant grappling with significant personal challenges. That single act of faith sparked a deep, ongoing partnership, particularly within Asuria’s Transition to Work program, across the South East Melbourne and Peninsula region. Since then, Hodei has become a beacon of hope, proving that businesses can thrive while lifting their communities.

Resumes are reviewed with an eye towards potential, not just past experience. Formal interviews are swapped for relaxed, informal chats, easing anxiety and letting candidates shine as their authentic selves.
For those facing hurdles like transportation or mental health concerns, Hodei offers flexible hours and a gradual onboarding process—small adjustments that make a world of difference.

“For over 20 years we’ve recruited ‘locals’ to our workplace,” said Andy Thompson, Managing Director at Hodei, “manufacturing medical consumables such as baby bottles for Australia’s hospitals.
